Dang! Ya hate reading, but ya sent me to an article to read.... Hmmm.... So, here's one of the things that I've discovered since seeing that jerk of a president take office, and even more so after visiting Canada last year. The use of the word "American". Has it even occurred to anyone that Mexicans are American, also? And Canadians, too. But, jerk-off politicians have totally bent the word to mean the US and its holdings. And the other two countries pretty much go along with it for some stupid reason.
OK, no flippin' politics today, cause I do go off on it. I have a very low tolerance for stupidity.
On the other hand, I love creativity, and yer take on that word seems just that.
But, just fer accuracy's sake, is it soft g as "jee" or is it hard g as in "gi".
Yes. And, what a great age t'start at them, cause first off, there's way more t'politics than what we hear on the tv. And, when I read yer first comment, you used the term "dude" and that inferred a male and there's the first thing t'start working on.... Even though there is an equal rights amendment, it doesn't seem to have broken into the realm of reality. Good movie to searcg out and watch would be Iron Wing Angels. (OK, I'm not real sure of the title, but, it's real close to that. It's about how women folk actually went out and WON the right to vote. Good movie, harsh on conservatives and jerks who just want t'tell other folks what t'do. No sexually explicit scenes, which for this day and age, is a wonder, and also probably one of the reasons it didn't make a particularly big box-office splash. Language was realistically presented.)
